Sharon Scott, running for Willoughby-Eastlake School Board

Scott has served six years on the board and has lived in Willoughby Hills for 50 years.
She cites improvements to buildings, curriculum and fiscal support on all government levels as top priorities.
“At our local level, I will accomplish my goal by supporting new ways of communicating W-E schools’ vision to the public and at the state level as acting legislative liaison to the board at OSBA capital conference,” she wrote in her questionnaire.
For why she should be elected, Scott cited her work on the school board and intention to continue to "address state and federally mandated changes in education, maintain fiscal responsibility despite decreasing funds" and "place the safety and security of your children first."
