Wolk has called Mentor-on-the-Lake home for eight years. The U.S. Marine Corps veteran has been involved with the city’s parks and recreation program.
If elected, he plans to increase communication with residents, in part, by posting his votes and the reasons behind them via social media.
“Additionally, I am going to push that the city publish its checkbook online so we can see exactly where every dollar is being spent,” he said.
Other ideas include addressing vacant homes with county funds and using portable speed bumps to slow traffic on side streets.
Wolk is married to Monika and they have three children.
