Dennis Morley for Eastlake Mayor

Dennis Morley for Eastlake Mayor

After serving Eastlake on City Council since 2005, Morley said his dedication to the city and his determination to work with administrators and residents make him the better candidate.
“Just like you, I am a citizen of Eastlake, and as a citizen I want to live in a healthy place,” he said in his questionnaire. “... If I’m elected, I will listen to our residents, take these thoughts and collaborate with city directors, engineers and council and try to make the changes that will give us the biggest bang for the buck. ... This is our city and together we can nurture it so it grows and prospers.”
Morley has served as president of Eastlake City Council for the past four years. As president, he sits on all city committees.
If elected as mayor, he said he would explore how to better use Classic Park, bolster economic development, concentrate on family-based recreation, and create a preventive maintenance plan.
