Carl Vinci for Richmond Heights School Board

Carl Vinci
Vinci has been a resident of Richmond Heights for the past 13 years. He would like to see the creation of academic boosters in the school district.
“People are not happy with the performance of our children in the schools,” Vinci said. “Yet we only have ‘band boosters,’ and we have booster organizations for sports. I would like to see ‘academic boosters’ who would be parents who would be truly interested in the academic excellence of their children and the schools’ academic reputation.”
He also would like to see scholarships given to students for academic excellence.
“Funds for these scholarship can de donated by businesses and other funds can be worked for just as the parental booster organizations fund their interests.”
Vinci said he would like to see academic awards given “just like we give for sports and band.”
